From the knowledge gathered on the tourism sector in more than 25 years of experience in leadership and management, and from research over the last 7 years on the Tourism Intelligence and Open Data, I strongly believe that understanding and addressing the impact of the so called Information Society, as well as the knowledge in business and tourist destinations is a priority and urgent challenge, both nationally and internationally.
